The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service has prepared
a final biological opinion on the Missouri River for the Army Corps of
Engineers. It covers the current operations of the main stem dams and reservoirs,
the bank stabilization and navigation channel from Sioux City, Iowa, to
the mouth, and the operations of the Kansas River projects managed by the
Corps.
All or parts of the document can be downloaded from the Northwestern
Division homepage. The opinion is quite large, 296 pages. It is also available
on a free compact disk by writing to: Project Manager, Missouri River Master
Manual Study, Northwestern Division, 12565 West Center Road, Omaha, NE
