Mailing Lists
We're interested in your participation
Our goal is public involvement where everyone
with an interest in activities on the Shoshone National Forest has
the opportunity to participate.
We rely on forest users and others to identify
issues and concerns about our projects.
The Shoshone maintains many mailing lists: forest
planning (revision), the quarterly Schedule of Proposed Actions
(SOPA) report, and mailing lists for specific projects. If you want
to be added to or removed from a mailing list, there are four ways
to do so.
1. For project mailing lists, view the SOPA
report and contact the project contact for projects in which
you have an interest. The contact will add your name to the mailing
list for all future information related to the project, such as
the scoping letter, environmental analysis document (if prepared),
decision document, and other NEPA documents.
2. For the SOPA and revision mailing lists, send
an email to Susie
Douglas. Please indicate which list you are referring to.
3. Send a note or post card to Shoshone National
Forest, Mailing Lists, 808 Meadow Lane Avenue, Cody, WY 82414-4549.
Please indicate which list you are referring to.
4. You may also telephone 307.578.5114 to request
to be on or removed from a mailing list. Please indicate which list
you are referring to.
If you want to receive information electronically,
please let us know. Those who specify email addresses will receive
email notification that NEPA documents are available from our Web
pages.
Important notice:
Our mailing lists are subject to Freedom of Information Act requests,
and, under certain conditions, may be made available to the public.
If you do not want your name released, you should not be on a government
mailing list.
