CSPV Violence Literature Database

Description: VioLit contains citations and abstracts of juvenile violence related research and literature primarily from journal articles, books, and reports. Other databases maintained by CSPV:

  • VioPro : database containing a national listing of violence prevention, intervention, and treatment programs.
  • VioSource : database storing information about violence-related curricula, videos, and other resource materials.
  • VioEval : database containing a compilation of data collection tools available on violence-related topics for program evaluation purposes.
Provided by the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence (CSPV), a research program of the Institute of Behavioral Science (IBS) at the University of Colorado at Boulder. Also see Homicide Trends in the U.S. , containing a series of charts that describe homicide patterns and trends since 1976. Maintained by the Bureau of Justice Statistics .
