The Dun's Business Identification Service identifies more than 10 million business establishments in the United States. The Data Universal Numbering System (D-U-N-S) is a non-indicative nine-digit number assignment system created by Dun and Bradstreet to identify unique business establishments. Each company listing includes company name, D-U-N-S number, address, city and state. At the end of each company listing is a status indicator that designates whether it is single location, headquarters, branch, etc. Also includes foreign international business accounts in a separate listing.
