Kids' Quest on
Disability and Health
Join KQ in the quest to learn more about
disabilities and health. The Kids' Quest is designed for students
in 4th,
5th, and 6th grades.
Parents and teachers can modify the materials to meet the students'
learning styles and levels. Quests can be used
in lessons about health, social studies, and tolerance in society.

and Birth Defects: A Mystery in Texas"
EXCITE (EXcellence in Curriculum Integration
though Teaching Epidemiology) is a teaching tool developed by
CDC for middle and high school teachers and students. Its purpose is
to introduce students to epidemiology, the scientific method of problem
solving that helps "disease detectives" find the cause of health
problems in a community.
BAM!
is brought to you by The Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC), an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and
Human Services (DHHS). BAM! was created to answer kids' questions on
health issues and recommend ways to make their bodies and minds
healthier, stronger, and safer. Check out "Meeting the
Challenge" to learn about some unlikely athletes.
