简介
清洁空气和无烟法令已显示能降低总体人口的吸烟率,但它们对较年长成年人的吸烟率有何影响值得进一步关注。我们考查了 2003 年科罗拉多州柯林斯堡 (Fort Collins) 实行这些法令后,在自述吸烟状况及吸烟态度上的变化。

方法
我们于 2001 和 2004年向通过随机拨号征募的拉里默尔县 (Larimer County) 北部居民寄出社区健康状况调查表。对居住在柯林斯堡的受访者进行了次级数据分析,将整个样本与 50 岁或 50 岁以上成年人的次样本对比。我们用单变量分析来确定 2 次调查中各组在自述吸烟状况上的差异。多变量逻辑回归模型以人口统计学相关因素为对照,估算了 2 次调查在吸烟状况以及公共场所吸烟认可度态度上的不同。

结果
尽管在整个成年人口中,吸烟率呈显著下降,但在较年长的受访者中,吸烟率没有变化。此外,两个组在 2 次调查中对待公共场所吸烟的态度也没有变化。

结论
较年长成年人和较年轻成年人在作出戒烟决定时,可能受到不同因素的影响。我们建议对不同生态层面采用多种方法,确保社区禁烟干预工作触及所有人口群体。
