Improving Public Health Practice through Translation Research (R18)

In FY 2007, CDC awarded 27 new translation research grants for $11.8 million. The purpose of the program is the achievement of new scientific knowledge that can accelerate the translation of research findings into public health practice through implementation, dissemination, and diffusion research. The goal is to improve the adoption and accelerate the dissemination of proven effective interventions that can make critically important impacts on health.
