ISOO analysts maintain continuous liaison with their agency counterparts on all matters relating to the Government-wide security classification program nd the National Industrial Security Program (NISP). Information about staff specialization is provided so that inquiries may be directed to the staff member who has expertise in or responsibility for particular areas. All members of the staff can provide general information about the program.

ISOO collects and distributes Best Practices that are found through the agency liaison program and during on-site inspections and special classified document reviews. ISOO believes this collection represents some of the programs, procedures, and practices that agencies are incorporating into their information security programs that deserve attention agency-wide.

Information on Declassification and Automatic Declassification
