From the New Jersey Turnpike:

From Trenton Station:

Take the 601, 606, 608, or 609 bus from the front of the train station. State Archives is approximately 2 miles distant, a block beyond State House on West State Street. Fare is $1.35.

From Northeast:

• Enter Trenton on Route 1. Stay on Route 1 to the last New Jersey exit, immediately before the toll bridge to Pennsylvania.
• At end of ramp, turn right to New Warren Street.
• At first light, turn left onto Market Street; this will take you to Route 29 North.
• Take first exit onto the Memorial Drive off ramp.
• After exiting, turn right just past the first traffic light, following signs for "Capitol Complex," and loop around right to parking garage entrance.
• Public parking in the State House Garage is on a limited basis. Please also look at the following link for other parking options: www.trentonparking.com
• If parking in State House Garage, take elevator to Plaza level, turn left to walk to West State Street, and then a left onto West State Street. The Archives is at the end of the block, 225.
• After registering at guard station, take elevator to State Archives on second floor.

From the East:

• Take Route I-195 west toward Trenton (will become Route 29/129).
• After 7-8 miles, take exit for Route 29 North.
• About 1 1/2 miles after leaving the Route 29 tunnel, exit at the Memorial Drive.
• After exiting, turn right just past the first traffic light, following signs for "Capitol Complex," and loop around right to parking garage entrance.

• After exiting, turn right just past the first traffic light, following signs for "Capitol Complex," and loop around right to parking garage entrance.

• Take Route 29 approximately four miles to the Memorial Drive exit (left-lane exit - you will see the white dome of the planetarium on your left just before exit).
• After exiting, turn right just past the first traffic light, following signs for "Capitol Complex," and loop around right to parking garage entrance.

• After exiting, turn right just past the first traffic light, following signs for "Capitol Complex," and loop around right to parking garage entrance.

• At the 3^rd traffic light on Parkside Avenue, turn left onto Stuyvesant Avenue.
• The State Records Center is 1.2 miles down the road on the right side.

From Southern New Jersey:

• Take New Jersey Turnpike North to exit 7A, follow the Trenton/West signs onto I-195 which will become Route 29/129.
• Or take Route 295 North and follow the signs for Route 29/129.
• While on Route 129, stay left for Route 29 tunnel exit.
• Upon exiting the tunnel, proceed on Route 29 to the Parkside Avenue exit.
• At the 3^rd traffic light on Parkside Avenue, turn left onto Stuyvesant Avenue.
• The State Records Center is 1.2 miles down the road on the right side.

From Eastern New Jersey:

• Take I-195 West, stay in left lane as the road will become Route 29/129.
• While on Route 129, stay left for the Route 29 tunnel exit.
• Upon exiting the tunnel, proceed on Route 29 to the Parkside Avenue exit.
• At the 3^rd traffic light on Parkside Avenue, turn left onto Stuyvesant Avenue.
• The State Records Center is 1.2 miles down the road on the right side.

From Western New Jersey:

• Take either Route 202 or I-78 to Route 31
• Take Route 31 until the entrance of The College of New Jersey (formerly Trenton State College) and make a right onto Carlton Avenue.
• At the traffic light, make a left onto Lower Ferry Road.
• Stay straight on Lower Ferry Road through the traffic light at the intersection.
• Make a left on Stuyvesant Avenue, the State Records Center is 1/4 mile on the left.

From Pennsylvania:

• Take Route 1 North across Delaware River into New Jersey.
• Immediately exit right to access Route 29 and bear right after two blocks to merge onto Route 29 North.
• Proceed on Route 29 to the Parkside Avenue exit.
• At the 3^rd traffic light on Parkside Avenue, turn left onto Stuyvesant Avenue.
