All-Time Record South Dakota High Temperature Tied

A high temperature of 120 degrees was recorded on Saturday, July 15 at a National Weather Service cooperative weather observing station 8 miles west-northwest of Usta in Perkins county, or 20 miles northwest of Faith. This temperature ties the all-time record high temperature for the state of South Dakota, which was set July 5, 1936 at Gann Valley.
