New Climate Maps Added to Web Site
Several new maps have been added to the local climate section of this web site. The maps show average monthly temperature, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, precipitation, and snowfall for many of the cooperative weather observing stations in the Rapid City NWS forecast area.
To access the maps, select the "Climate / Local" link in the main menu, then click the "Local Data/Records" tab. Under the "Climate Data" heading, select "Regional Climate Averages". Each map can be enlarged to a full screen version by clicking on it.
