February 3, 1999 High Wind Event

On February 3rd, 1999 a fairly widespread high wind event occurred across portions of northeast Wyoming and western South Dakota. The highest wind gusts recorded was 83 MPH at Devil's Tower. Most wind speeds ranged from 50-65 MPH. Sustained wind speeds that day were 30-45 MPH. Below are some graphics depicting the event.
