Proposed Action (January, 2004)
In January of 2004, we released a Proposed
Action to begin public dialogue about needs for change in
the current forest plans and to identify issues and concerns
that might be addressed in the revision effort. The comment period
ended on April 22, 2004. We analyzed all the comments we received
and summarized them in the 2004
Content Analysis Report.
Analysis of the Management Situation (January, 2004)
The AMS focuses on where and why there is
a need to change the current plans. It paints a picture of the current
biological, physical and social setting. It helps define the decision
space and it provides the foundation for developing a range of alternatives
for consideration.
