The Corps of Engineers (CE) Aquatic Plant Control Research Program (APCRP) requires that a meeting be held each year to provide for the professional presentation of current research efforts. Subsequent to these presentations, the Civil Works Research and Development Program Review is held. The overall objective of the presentation and review of the APCRP is to thoroughly review the CE aquatic plant management needs and establish priorities for future research. Since 1997, this meeting has been held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the Aquatic Plant Management Society (APMS).
Again this year, the presentation and review of the APCRP will be held in conjunction with the 47th Annual Meeting of the APMS at the Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, 15-18 July 2007. The presentation of technical findings for each research effort conducted under the APCRP will be scheduled in appropriate sessions of the meeting.
