2002 State Assessment Data Analysis for Schools In Need of Improvement

The New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) reviewed the results of the 2002 state assessment data to determine the progress of the 259 schools that were identified last year as "in need of improvement." The analysis of these 259 schools shows the following:

Title I schools remaining in improvement status will continue to offer school choice, as well as supplemental educational services in the 2003-2004 school year.
