We welcome the results of the IMFconference in Tokyo today to discuss multilateral and bilateralfinancing for Thailand’s economic recovery program. TheUnited States looks forward to a rapid conclusion of technicaldiscussions between the Thai authorities and the IMF and thepresentation of the adjustment program to the IMF Board. We alsosupport the expected participation of the Asian Development Bankand the World Bank, and look forward to learning the details oftheir proposed financing programs.
