Goal
To provide the public health community information and guidance on
containment of SARS.
Objectives
Upon successful completion of the course, participants will be able to:
- Describe key strategies for containing the spread of SARS.
- Explain the current guidelines for instituting quarantine and/or isolation strategies.
- Determine appropriate action steps needed to carry out SARS-related isolation or quarantine measures.
- Determine appropriate support systems needed to carry out SARS-related isolation or quarantine measures.

Public health workforce, including state and local public health
officials, public health advisors, community-based outreach workers,
and infection control professionals.
