The Community Tobacco Cessation Partnership provides trainings on the Best Practice Guidelines in Treating Tobacco Use and Dependence as defined by the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. Ongoing support includes technical assistance, nicotine patches (NRT), and cessation education materials.

Organizations within the Partnership serve populations who have the highest prevalence of smoking in King County and are capable of using these key strategies to reduce prevalence of tobacco use and health disparities caused by tobacco:

  • Change organizational systems to screen for and treat tobacco use
  • Change social norms of clients concerning tobacco use
  • Provide and promote access to treatment
  • Promote the Washington State Quitline

Read this Fact Sheet to find out more about trainings, and complete the Screening Form if your organization is interested joining the Partnership.
