This live chat is part of a Library of Congress series featuring historical materials available from its National Digital Library Program at http://www.loc.gov/.

The Library of Congress National Digital Library Program aims to make freely available on the Internet millions of items of Americana from the Library's collection of 110 million items. The program, established in 1994, is funded by public and private resources.
