DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

McKesson Drug Company, San Francisco, Calif., is being awarded a $8,460,000 firm- fixed-price, modified requirements contract for pharmaceutical products. Seven proposals were solicited and one was received. Work will be performed in Duluth, Ga., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 12, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200- 94-D-7009).

Fuji, Stamford, Conn., is being awarded an estimated $50,000,000 indefinite quantity contract for an x-ray system, sub-systems and components. Nineteen proposals were solicited and nineteen were received. Work is expected to be completed by Sept. 3, 1998. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPO200-96-D-8059).

Merck-Medco Managed Care, Inc., Maple Grove, Minn., is being awarded an estimated $29,550,000 firm-fixed-price modified requirements contract for a national mall order pharmacy. Sixty-two proposals were solicited and three were received. Work will be performed in Fort Worth, Texas; Las Vegas, Nev.; and Parsippnay, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 1, 1998. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Personnel Support Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-0700).

NAVY

Raytheon Co., Electronic Systems, Sudbury, Mass., is being awarded a $85,616,513 firm-fixed-price contract for AEGIS Weapon System (AWS) OT-146/SPY-1D Transmitter Group and Fire Control System (FCS) MK99 MOD TBD Ancillary Equipment for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirements. This contract covers a purchase for the Government of Spain (100%) under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Sudbury, Mass. (20%), Andover, Mass. (72.5%), and Madrid, Spain (7.5%), and is expected to be completed by December 2003. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity (N00024-97-C-5193).

Charles Stark Draper Laboratory Inc., Cambridge, Mass., is being awarded a $6,229,518 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-93-C-6101 to exercise on option for systems support for the Deep Submergence Systems Program. This contract will provide engineering services, maintenance and repair, ship alterations and materials for the Deep Submergence Rescue Vehicles, Deep Submergence Vehicles, Submarine NR-1 and USS DOLPHIN. Work will be performed in Cambridge, Mass., and is expected to be completed by September 1998. Contract funds in the amount of $225,900 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Va., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $273,900,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for six C-130J aircraft. These aircraft will be modified to the WC-130J configuration (weather reconnaissance) after delivery to the Air Force. Contract is expected to be completed December 1998. There was one firm solicited and one proposal received. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Lockheed Martin Corp., Marietta, Ga., is being awarded a $188,400,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for four C-130J aircraft. McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded an $18,900,000 firm-fixed-price contract to provide for long lead effort for three F-15E aircraft. McDonnell Douglas Corp., St. Louis, Mo., is being awarded a $7,137,038 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract to provide for 14 Avionics Part Task Trainers applicable to the T-1A aircraft. The work will be performed at Lockheed Martin Quintron, Chantilly, Va. Contract is expected to be completed July 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Orbital Sciences Corp., Germantown, Md., is being awarded a $32,500,081 cost-plus- award-fee contract to provide for the Integrated Space Technology Demonstrations (ISTD) Warfighter-1 demonstration. Warfighter-1 is a mission focused demonstration of a tactical

Hyperspectral Imaging (HIS) remote sensing system. This demonstration is one of a series that will address deficiencies in Air Force Space Command's Mission Area Plan and develop methods of reducing life-cycle costs of future operational systems. There were 88 firms solicited and three proposals received. Contract is expected to be completed January 2001. Solicitation began October 1996; negotiations were completed February 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Phillips Laboratory, Kirtland Air Force Base, N.M., is the contracting activity (F29601-97/C-0110).

Buck Environmental Technologies, McLean , Va., is being awarded a $7,940,000 requirements contract to provide for demilitarization of 6250 (best estimated quantity) M117 general purpose bombs. Contract is expected to be completed June 1999. Solicitation began June 1996; negotiations were completed March 1997. There were 35 firms solicited and two proposals received. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The 15th Contracting Squadron, Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii, is the contracting activity (F64605-97/D-0002).

Raytheon Aerospace Company, Madison, Miss., is being awarded a $6,274,784 fixed-price-incentive contract to provide for FY 1998 (phase in 1-30 September 1997) maintenance services for trainer equipment at Sheppard AFB, Texas, and satellite locations. The work will be performed at Sheppard AFB, Texas (90%), and other locations. Contract is expected to be completed September 1998. Solicitation began January 1997; negotiations were completed July 1997. There were 24 firms solicited and three proposals received. ARMY

Nichols Research Corp., Huntsville, Ala., is being awarded $52,055 as part of a $103,862,437 (if all options are exercised) firm-fixed-price level of effort contract with cost reimbursement contract-line-items for travel and material, to provide functional engineering support for the Missile Guidance Directorate. Work will be performed in Huntsville, Ala., and is expected to be completed by July 31, 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 124 bids solicited on Jan. 29, 1997, and one bid was received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command (Provisional), Redstone Arsenal, Ala. CIVIL WORKS - NON MILITARY

Bauer of America Corp., Great Neck, N.Y., is being awarded a $16,360,130 firm-fixed-price contract for construction of seepage control. The project includes repairs consisting of a two-foot thick concrete seepage cutoff wall, constructed through the center of the dam embankment and the underlying foundation material, and extending five feet into sound bedrock

below the foundation material at depths up to 135 feet. A similar wall will be constructed at the upstream toe of Dike 1 located about 1,000 feet west of the dam. Concrete wall lengths for the embankment and Dike1 are approximately 2,100 feet and 1,300 feet. Work will be performed at the Hodges Village Dam, Oxford, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 30, 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 107 bids solicited on Feb. 11, 1997, and four bids were received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Waltham, Mass. (DACW33-97-C-0018).
