Bernard Rostker, special assistant for Gulf War illnesses, will release the next case narrative related to the ongoing investigation into the possible causes of Gulf War illnesses, at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 1997, in the Pentagon briefing studio, Room 2E781.
The narrative focuses on the reported mustard agent exposure of a soldier who was exploring enemy bunker complexes in Iraq March 1, 1991.
The narrative will be made available in the Directorate for Defense Information, at 10 a.m. on the day of the briefing.
Media or couriers without Pentagon access should use the Pentagon's Mall Entrance (not the Metro entrance) and call 697-5131/5134 from the telephone adjacent to the entrance security guard post to arrange for pick up/delivery of a copy of the narrative.
The document will also be accessible via the Internet at www.gulflink.osd.mil after 11 a.m. the day of the briefing.
