Secretary of Defense William J. Perry announced today
that the President has nominated Rear Admiral Patricia A. Tracey,
U.S. Navy, for appointment to the grade of vice admiral and
assignment as Chief of Naval Education and Training and Director
Naval Training, N7, Office of the Chief of Naval Operations in
the Pentagon. Rear Admiral Tracey is currently serving as
Commander Naval Training Center, Great Lakes, Illinois.
Rear Admiral Tracey was born November 30, 1950, in Bronx, New York.
