The International course is generally the Advanced course with special emphasis on international tax law for nonmilitary U.S. residents living outside the U.S., especially those served by U.S. Embassies and Consulates or other areas under the VITA/TCE.

Military persons going overseas for VITA/TCE must take two International lessons: Foreign Income Exclusion and Foreign Tax Credit. In addition, they need to be certified in both the Military and International tests.

You may "test out" of the International Course by achieving a passing score on the Test. Proceed through the course in the order shown to complete the training:

  • International Course
  • International Test
