ARMY

Texas Instruments, Incorporated, Dallas, Texas, is being awarded a $7,208,000 modification to a cost plus incentive fee/award fee contract for TOW Improved Target Acquisition System (ITAS) Engineering and Manufacturing/Improved Bradley Acquisition Subsystem (IBAS) Engineering and Manufacturing. Work will be performed in McKinney, Texas, and is expected to be completed by July 18, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 118 bids solicited on October 27, 1992, and 3 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama (DAAH01-93-C-0206).

Hughes Aircraft Company, Fullerton, California, is being awarded a $31,581,578 modification to a fixed price contract for low rate initial production option for 10 Ground Based Sensors. Work will be performed in Forest, Mississippi (90%), and Fullerton, California (10%), and is expected to be completed by July 31, 1997. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 7 bids solicited for the basic contract in June, 1989 and 7 bids received. The Analytic Sciences Corporation, Reading, Massachusetts, is being awarded a $3,831,934 increment as part of a $10,011,232 cost plus award fee contract for research and development, and operations and maintenance systems engineering services for the Defense Mapping Agency. Work will be performed in Reston, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by December 31, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on August 8, 1994. The contracting activity is the Defense Mapping Agency, Washington, D.C. (DMA800-95-C-8013).

Oshkosh Truck Corporation, Oshkosh, Wisconsin, is being awarded a $10,373,082 modification to a firm fixed price contract for the following M977 series Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTTs): 24 each M977 cargo with winch, 17 each M978 tanker with winch, 4 each M984A1 wrecker, 3 each M983 Cargo, 2 each M985 Cargo with winch, 4 each M985 cargo without winch, and 1 M985A1 missile transporter. Work will be performed in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, and is expected to be completed by June 30, 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This is a sole source contract initiated on October 13, 1993. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Warren, Michigan (DAAE07-94-C-R086).

AIR FORCE

Alliant Techsystems, Incorporated, Hopkins, Minnesota, is being awarded a $9,482,929 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for development of eight Wind Corrected Munitions Dispenser Kits. These kits will correct the effects of wind on dispenser type munitions. Contract is expected to be completed September 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Forty bids were solicited and eight proposals were received. The solicitation was issued October 1994 and negotiations were completed January 1995. The Aeronautical Systems Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, is the contracting activity (F08626-95-C-0001).

Martin Marietta, Automation Systems Company, Orlando, Florida, is being awarded a $6,619,500 modification to previously awarded contract N00019-93-C-0193 for the development and implementation of value engineering changes in the AN-USM 636 Consolidated Automated Support System's (CASS) digital test and central processing units. CASS is the Navy's standard automated test equipment program. Work will be performed in Orlando, Florida, and is expected to be completed by March 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Sparton Electronics, Inc., DeLeon, Florida, is being awarded a $20,604,446 firm-fixed-price contract for the procurement of 20,581 AN/SSQ-62CX Sonobuoys with launcher container LAU-126A, associated technical data and support items. Work will be performed in DeLeon Springs, Florida, and is expected to be completed by January 1997. Contract funds will not

expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured by a Request for Proposals (RFP) and two offers were received. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Indianapolis, Indiana, is the contracting activity (N00163-95-C-0044)).

British Aerospace Dynamics, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England, is being awarded a letter contract with a ceiling amount of $10,933,154 for foreign comparative testing of the ASRAAM Missile. The purpose of the testing is to gather data to determine if the missile meets AIM-9X operational requirements. Work will be performed in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England (50%), Eglin Air Force Base, Florida (25%), and China Lake, California (25%), and is expected to be completed by June 1996. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was not competitively procured. Hughes Aircraft Company, Radar Systems Group, Los Angeles, California, is being awarded a $9,980,434 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for engineering support services for F-14 radar systems and related instrumentation. Sperry Marine, Inc., Charlottesville, Virginia, is being awarded a $9,263,049 fixed-price-incentive (successive targets) contract to provide the design, production suitability models and options for initial production systems for Ring Laser Gyro Navigation (RLGN) systems for DDG 77, 78 and 79. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $22,236,482. Contract funds in the amount of $7,214,097 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 13 proposals solicited and two offers received. Textron Marine & Land Systems, Inc., New Orleans, Louisiana, is being awarded a cost-plus-award fee contract for the Phased Maintenance Program (PMP) on the Landing Craft Air Cushion (LCAC) Vehicles. The base year award will be $209,785. This contract contains options, which if exercised, will bring the total cumulative value of the contract to $23,165,590. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia (50%), and Camp Pendleton, California (50%), and

is expected to be completed by February 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Harris Technical Service Corporation, Norfolk, Virginia, is being awarded a $10,210,098 firm-fixed-price requirements contract for repair/overhaul modification and reporting efforts in support of the Versatile Avionics Shop Tester (VAST) mini VAST, Hybrid test sets (HTS) and tailored mini-VAST systems. VAST systems are computerized automatic test systems which support major avionics subsystems of the F-14A, E-2C, S-3A, and A-7E aircraft. Work will be performed in Norfolk, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by February 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $5,131,853 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
