Focus On Users

The Focus on Users seminars are a series of workshops focusing on how key audiences use technology to learn and make decisions about health.

The nine-session series will start in June of 2008 and last until October of 2010, and will feature workshops on:

  • kids,
  • adolescents,
  • moms,
  • older adults,
  • physicians,
  • public health professionals,
  • international users,
  • disabled users, and
  • underserved populations.

In each session we will:

  • review demographic data;
  • identify trends in technology use, preferences, and user behavior;
  • review audience-specific evidence about technology and positive health change; and
  • establish strategies to use technology more effectively with target CDC audiences.

These sessions are open to both CDC staff and public health partners.
