NCPTT seeks innovative projects that advance the application of science and technology to historic preservation. The PTT Grants program funds projects that develop new technologies or adapt existing technologies to preserve cultural resources.

Throughout the United States, NCPTT has undertaken important and varied work to advance the preservation of cultural resources. Partners in government, private practice, tribes, museums, universities and non-profits are important collaborators in nearly all that NCPTT has accomplished.
