John W. Quill
Deputy Comptroller for Special Supervision
John W. Quill is the deputy comptroller for special supervision at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC).
Mr. Quill has served in this capacity since August of 2004. He is responsible for supervising the resolution of critical problem banks through
rehabilitation or orderly failure management. Previously, he was the assistant deputy comptroller in charge of the Maryland/National Capital Area
Field Office. He began his career in 1980 in Miami, Fla., with the OCC and has also served as a regional bank analyst in the former Atlanta District
Office. He was commissioned as a national bank examiner in 1984.
Mr. Quill is a graduate of the University of South Florida and earned a bachelor's of science in Finance.
