Committees and Boards

Committees

ESA has three types of committees. For more information on each type of committee -- including a descriptions of each committee's function, composition, and current roster and terms of office -- please select from the following.

§         Standing Committees, which report to and make recommendations to the Governing Board, develop objectives and operational procedures, and assist the Board and Headquarters in implementing various programs and activities;

§         Presidential Committees, which may be appointed as needed by the President to serve during his/her term as President and which undertake a particular tasking; and

§         Special Committees, which are established from the membership of the Society by a majority vote of the Governing Board to conduct a specific task for a specified period of time.
