Public Assistance Office Disaster Costs Documentation Package
The
Operational Planning Bureau Response and Recovery Unit is
responsible for the Infrastructure and Human Services elements
of the Federal Disaster Assistance Program and to coordinate
damage and needs assessment related activities performed
in response to expected or actual emergency situations.
The Unit is also responsible for maintenance of the State
Emergency Operations Center, its facilities and equipment,
liaison and coordination with the various State Executive
Departments, as well as with the Federal government to ensure
compatibility between the Federal Response Plan and the
State Emergency Operations Plan. The Unit also maintains
records on the status of county and municipal Emergency
Operations Plan.

FEMA Public Assistance forms can be downloaded by each applicant,
as required. The forms have been prepared as Excel spreadsheets
so that each Applicant can insert relevant data into the appropriate
boxes. The Excel program will then perform the calculations
for you. Insert data in any box highlighted in yellow.
