Public RoomThe Oregon/Washington Bureau of Land Management Public Room is a great place to find information on topics ranging from recreation to genealogy. The Public Room also has available for sale a wide range of publications, maps, aerial photographs, books, and children's activities. The Public Room functions as a modern day land office. For additional historic background on the BLM land office, view the land office history page. Our site also contains online brochures and information regarding oil and gas lease sales, and mining on public lands. In addition, we also have information on a number of maps, books, and children's items that are available for sale. Checks should be made payable to the Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (DOI-BLM). We also accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. These items are not yet available online, but you can also stop by the Oregon/Washington Bureau of Land Management Public Room. GeoCommunicator is the publication site for the Bureau of Land Management's National Integrated Land System (NILS) transaction applications (Survey Management, Measurement Management, and Parcel Management). GeoCommunicator provides searching, accessing and dynamic mapping of data for federal land stewardship, land and mineral use records from BLM's LR2000, and land survey information.
