Quality Information for Health Care Professionals

In an effort to improve quality at New Jersey hospitals, the Department of Health and Senior Services together with the Quality Improvement Advisory Committee (QIAC) has developed this website for health care professionals. The objective of this website is to share best practices, meeting notices, and quality improvement tools.

The fifth edition of the annual report on the quality performances of hospitals in New Jersey, the New Jersey 2008 Hospital Performance Report, was released in September 2008.  The report demonstrates that New Jersey continues to improve quality of care. The Department’s new web site, Healthcare Associated Infections Public Reporting Initiative provides hospitals with background information and the requirements mandated by the 2007 law.
