Signing Up for the President’s Challenge

Some officers have expressed confusion regarding signing up for the President's Challenge.

In order to sign-up and become part of the USPHS group for the Basic Readiness Status please complete the following:

  1. visit www.presidentschallenge.org
  2. click the box labeled "Adults"
  3. click "Sign me up!" at the bottom of the page
  4. enter the required information on the "Register Here" page
    1. enter your PHS Serial Number for your "User Name"
    2. enter a password
    3. confirm your password
    4. complete the "Password Hint" section
    5. enter "Group ID Number" as 13537
    6. enter "Group Member ID/Name" as USPHS
    7. complete the "Your Personal Information" section
  5. you are now enrolled in the USPHS group.

To confirm your Group please do the following:

  1. login in using your PHS Serial Number as your User Name and the password you created
  2. halfway down, on the left-hand side of the page, you should see "You belong to the following group(s):"
  3. "USPHS" should be listed there.

You may also click the 6th tab at the top, titled "Your Groups" of the page to view the groups you are enrolled in.

Once an award is earned your must request that certificate. To request a certificate please do the following:

  1. login in using your PHS Serial Number as your User Name and the password you created
  2. click the 5th tab at the top, titled "Your Awards".
  3. click "ordering it" and following the instructions.
