Deployment Service Awards
The Office of Assistant Secretary for Health, through the Office of Commissioned Corps Force Management (OCCFM) has released Commissioned Corps Instruction Awards Program which provides guidelines for Deployment Service Awards. This newly issued policy (effective 06 August 2007) provides guidance for officers to qualify for 3 types of service awards, which includes the Response Service Award (RSA), Crisis Response Service Award (CRSA) and the Global Response Service Award (GRSA).
Officers are encouraged to review the criteria to ensure they understand how to qualify for these awards.
