Troubled Waters: A National Call for Renewal. Flood Protection / Water Management / Recreation. The Muskingum River Basin.
The West Virginia Statewide Flood Protection Plan is a comprehensive plan prepared by the WV Statewide Flood Protection Task Force and dedicated to reducing flood damages throughout the state. This multi-agency Task Force has provided within this strategic plan numerous recommendations for floodplain management, floodplain mapping, flood warning systems, building codes, stream crossings, dredging, stormwater management and reduction of flood damages to at-risk structures and facilities.
