Hike, Bike, or Horseback Ride

Molalla River Corridor

The Molalla River Recreation Corridor is an area recognized for its scenic beauty, natural setting, water resource values, and diverse recreational opportunities. The scenic drive along the paved Molalla Forest Road offers miles of easy river access and year-round recreation opportunities such as hiking, bicycle riding, horseback riding, fishing, kayaking, swimming, picnicking, and many other activities.

The Molalla River Recreation Corridor is located 9 miles southeast of the city of Molalla (SE of Portland). From the east side of Molalla, follow signs to Feyrer Park. Cross the river and turn right, following signs to Dickey Prairie. Continue south on Dickey Prairie Road about 4 miles past Dickey Prairie Store (last chance for supplies and public telephone). Turn right onto the Molalla Forest Road and cross Glen Avon Bridge. The first mile and a half, south from the bridge, is bordered by private property. Please be a good neighbor and respect private property rights. Do not trespass on these lands! Common sense and courtesy will help us all continue to enjoy the rich attractions of the area. An entrance sign on the left side of the road marks the beginning of the Corridor.
