About E-Gov
Expanding E-Government
The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) released its 2009 E-Government and IT Expanding E-Government Results report on January 12, 2009, highlighting the FY 2008 accomplishments and illustrating the continued advancement of the Federal Government’s overall performance over the past years. In addition to the Results report, the CIO Council prepared for the next Administration by completing the CIO Council Transition Guide. This guide will be of importance to any new CIO entering the federal government to assist them in being part of the federal government enterprise.
E-Government and IT continues to improve its performance as illustrated in the Results report. Since launching the E-Government solutions for improved services in 2002, agencies now operate and support the common government wide solutions. The departments and agencies have accomplished a great deal, providing a sound foundation for the incoming Administration to implement their program priorities.
