Interim Closure Structure at London Ave. Canal

Description
Project OEB010 includes the construction of an interim gated flood control structure in the vicinity of the confluence of London Ave. Canal and Lake Pontchartrain. This steel structure will have a series of panel gates that will be open under normal conditions and closed during rising Lake Pontchartrain tide or impending tropical storm activity. Portions of the interim structure could potentially be utilized in the future construction of a permanent facility.
