Informed Consent-Recall of Risk Information following Epidural Analgesia in Labour.

22(2): 139-41. Forty primiparous women were tested for their memory of information regarding epidural insertion presented during labor. Overall, patients' memory of information was poor; however, those who had previously attended antenatal epidural education classes performed significantly better on the recall test than those who had not attended such classes.
