Informed Consent: An Evaluation of Patients' Understanding and Opinion (With Respect to the Operation of Transurethral Resection of Prostrate).

Most of forty-six elderly patients undergoing transure thral resection of the prostrate who answered a questionnaire remembered the position of the prostate and the purpose of the operation better than information about certain aspects of postoperative management and complications provided during the informed consent process.
