Incorporating Folic Acid Education into Your
Practice

Patient Education
CDC has folic acid education materials available free of charge for
your use. The materials were developed, tested, refined, and produced
to target two audiences.
Before You Know It brochures, posters, print ads (small posters), fact
sheets (brochure text with clipart to reproduce in black and white),
and video and audio PSAs are intended for women who are thinking about
becoming pregnant now or sometime soon. These materials are available
in English and
Spanish.
The Ready, Not series of brochures, posters, print ads, and PSAs are
intended for women who are not considering pregnancy now or in the
near future. (Available in English)
