British Council
Nonprofit organization for the promotion overseas of study at UK educational institutions, teacher and student exchanges, and other cross-cultural programs.
Department for Education and Skills
This department’s responsibilities fall into the areas of youth, schools, and lifelong learning. The department has responsibility for policies and practices for schools, which includes organization and funding, coordination of policies for post-secondary education and training, and policies on adult training.
Universities UK
Formerly known as the Committee of Vice-Chancellors and Principals of the Universities of the United Kingdom (CVCP), this is the peak organization for universities in Great Britain. The website includes a brief history, a list of universities with contact information and website links, information about publications (some freely available online), statistics, and other information
Education and Learning Wales (ELWa)
Public body sponsored by the National Assembly for Wales and known officially as the National Council for Education and Training for Wales. This body has responsiblity for post-secondary education and training in Wales with the exception of higher education, which is under the purview of the Higher Education Funding Council for Wales (HEFCW). ELWa also provides advice to the National Assembly for Wales on education issues.

Higher Education Funding Council for England
