Prepared by US Embassy staff once a year and contain information on the business and economic situation of foreign countries and the political climate as it affects U.S. business. Other topics addressed in the Guides include marketing, trade regulations, investment climate, and business travel.

The U.S. Census Bureau provides several years of statistics on U.S. trade with each foreign country, including balance of payments and products traded.

FXHistory - Historical Currency Exchange Rates (http://www.oanda.com/convert/fxhistory)
Converts currencies as far back as January 1, 1990 to present. Maintained by Oanda.com, "the currency site."

Ministerul Finantelor Publice (http://www.mfinante.ro)
Ministry of Public Finance. Provides a short history and description of the Ministry's functions; biography of the minister; budget reports and projections; its monthly bulletin, and more. In Romanian and English.
