Work Force Profile
FRD research staff is highly educated. Most have M.A, M.S, M.L.S.,
or Ph.D. degrees. They are trained in a wide range of disciplines
including: area studies, computer science, education, environmental
policy, foreign languages, information and library science, literature,
science and technology, physical sciences, and social sciences.
The analytical workforce used by FRD has impressive foreign language
capabilities and is proficient in more than 30 foreign languages.
The core staff has an average of more that 12 years in effective
and efficient use of Library of Congress collections and facilities
to produce expert analyses. Prior to joining FRD, researchers worked
as intelligence analysts, professors, consultants and held many
other positions in the private and public sectors.
Some staff have security clearances and are able to consult with
client agency staff and work in client agency facilities as needed.
Our staff is highly motivated and work oriented and committed to
organizational and intergovernmental needs.
