In April 2003, OSHA began distributing this radio announcement for Spanish speaking workers and their families in the U.S.

FEMALE VOICE (Rosemary)
Ahhh…there…now hold still…justa little bit more"
YOUNG MALE VOICE (Son)
Dad, what's the matter? Are you hurt?
MALE VOICE (Dad)
It's OK. It's OK. I just had a little accident at work.
FEMALE VOICE (Rosemary)
It is not OK at all…you were the third person to get hurt this week!
YOUNG MALE VOICE (Son)
Mom…is that right? (sighs & mutters under breath) OK...this has gone on too long…we need to report it.
MALE VOICE (Dad)
But the government...they will call the immigration people!
FEMALE VOICE (Rosemary)
No. You don't have to be quiet. There's a law for that.
YOUNG MALE VOICE (Son)
That's right dad. No matter where you are from or how you got here--- you have the right to a safe workplace.
