The Plumas National Forest is currently working on Steps 3 & 4 of the travel management project.
Plumas NF Woodcutting Restrictions Lifted
Plumas National Forest (public land) restrictions on personal use woodcutting will be lifted effective Tuesday, September 30. Woodcutters must have a valid permit. However, the forest is still in fire season and fire restrictions remain in place. Currently, campfires are only allowed in designated recreation areas and vehicles must remain on forest system (numbered) roads.
