Asian STSS

AsianSTSS was founded in 2005 as a fully incorporated limited company registered in Hong Kong for professionals to share information about the effects of trauma. We aim to advance knowledge about the nature and consequences of highly stressful events and to provide a forum for the sharing of research, clinical strategies, public policy concerns and theoretical formulations on trauma around the Asian region. For more information, visit the AsianSTSS Web site (link to http://www.asianstss.org) or e-mail, info@asianstss.org.

Combined Federal Campaign
http://www.mhfederation.org/

.More than three-quarters of all not-for-profit funding comes from individual donors, and it is well understood that many of these donors can be reached through charitable appeals in the workplace. Yet, mental health organizations have been, and continue to be, greatly under-represented in workplace giving campaigns.

Mental Health, Addiction and Retardation Organizations of America (MHAROA, pronounced: marrow) has been organized to correct this imbalance. Our group of professionals from the worlds of mental health programs and philanthropy can help qualified organizations enter the vast and often arcane world of workplace giving. We begin with the United States government employees. Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the largest and most prestigious workplace campaign in the world. And, because the CFC enforces high standards of programmatic impact and fiscal accountability, it is an important stepping stone to other workplace campaigns.

MHAROA is a proud participant in the Combined Federal Campaign. US federal employees may designate to MHAROA by using CFC #11591. ISTSS's individual number is CFC #11227.
