Congressman Faleomavaega announced today that he has been invited by President George W. and Mrs. Laura Bush to attend a Holiday Ball that will be held at the White House on December 4, 2006.  The event is in honor of Members of Congress. 

“The annual White House Christmas Ball is a special occasion when Members of Congress come together with the President and the First Lady to celebrate the holiday season,” Faleomavaega said.  “Over the years, I’ve attended this event at the request of President and Mrs. George H. Bush, President and Mrs. William Clinton, and President and Mrs. George W. Bush and it has been my distinct honor and privilege to represent the people of American Samoa at this annual event.”

“This year, I am pleased to once again join the President and First Lady at their annual Holiday Ball and, as always, I will be sure to pass on our people’s best wishes,” Faleomavaega concluded.
