The Customer Service Assessment and Management System (CSAMS)

The Customer Service Assessment and Management System (CSAMS) is a web-based application used to collect call center performance management data from Medicare Fee-for-Service Contractors.  The application is used to produce and display performance reports based on this data for use by CMS Central and Regional Office staff to assist in their oversight responsibilities.  Mandatory reporting began effective October, 1999 for Beneficiary call centers and October, 2001 for Provider call centers.  To access the application, see the link in the "Related Links Outside CMS" section below.
