The Monitor National Marine Sanctuary is holding five public meetings in early December 2008 to solicit comments on priority issues for the management plan review process. NOAA published a federal register notice to announce the availability of the Draft NOAA Deep-Sea Coral and Sponge Research and Management Strategic Plan for a 90-day public comment period. The Draft NOAA Deep-Sea Coral and Sponge Research and Management Strategic Plan will be available here (pdf) for a period of 90 days from the date of publication of the Federal Register Notice.
