NCPTT's Executive Director Kirk Cordell and IT Manager Lance Ellis attended
GSA's Department of Interior-specific training for the Federal Advisory
Committee Act (FACA) in late February, 2006. The course proved to be an
excellent introduction to the intricacies of FACA and pointed out a number of
areas where NCPTT's management of its FACA committee, the PTT Board, could be
improved. Some of these improvements have already been implemented; others will
be as the year progresses. The course is highly recommended for anyone involved
in a board or committee covered by FACA.
